Product Description African Shea Butter
100% Natural
African Shea Butter is made from the nut of the African Shea Tree. It contains a rich amount of unremovable fatty acid which render it far superior to cocoa butter and other natural vegatable butters. this fatty is crucial to rejuvenating and moisturizing the skin. Shea Butter provides all the essential vitamins needed to make skin look and feel smoother, softer and most importantly, healthier. Its therapeutic properties protect the skin from wind, cold, sun and it helps heal wounds faster. Shea Butter stimulates cellular activity, fights the effects of aging and repairs rough, damaged skin.

Awesomely good June 27, 2010 Mister Coming from Africa, the sheabutter is the same. It is so good.I use it on my hair and on my body. It is a very nice cream and moisturizer. It works well as a sunscreen too. It is not oily.
I must say I bought a good stuff.
Gotta have the Shea! June 3, 2010 K. Alston Any natural diva would tell you that one of her staple products is shea butter! This yellow butter arrives in 8oz moisture sealed containers that are reusable. Shea butter can be used on hair as well as skin. It provided softness and sheen to your tresses with only a small amount. I would recommend this product to anyone at anytime.
It IS real shea butter May 14, 2010 Christina M. Wadlin (Purcellville, VA United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After reading many reviews on here, I ordered this item, used my mixer to soften it (hot soapy water will remove the residue from any tools used) and I absolutely LOVE this stuff. First, it is real shea butter. With a little research, I found that the best shea butter is older shea butter, and shea butter gets yellower as it ages. So when I received yellow shea butter, I was very pleased. The container was plastic, but I transferred it all to glass containers once softened and recycled the plastic. Also, any undesirable smell (I didn't mind it in natural form at all) can be fixed with a little essential oil in the mixing process as another reviewer indicated OR just wait after applying because the smell disappears after a while. I can't believe I ever used chemically-contaminated moisturizers/foot soaks/bath oils/acne medication/scar reducers/hair conditioners/chap sticks/wrinkle products, etc. etc. etc. when this amazing product has been available! I will never go back to that awful garbage again.
disappointed May 4, 2010 S. Plummer (CLEVELAND, OH, US) 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is the yellow shea butter thats sold in those oriental shops for a cheap pricing. The product is okay not the better quality or grade of shea butters. I assumed this would of been the white shea butter and more solid. This has a very yellow coloring and a overly strong scent.
Good Product Fast Service April 27, 2010 Builder50 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My first order of shea butter so not sure of long-term benefits. If you live where the product might freeze during the delivery process, be sure to ask for special packing such as newspaper to insulate it. I tried mixing it with my Kitchen Aid, and it came out pretty well. The process is messy, but the shea butter cleans easily with HOT water. The mixture turned out gritty (probably because it froze during delivery), but it becomes smooth when I rub it in and feels good on my skin. I added some jojoba oil and lavender essence - I'll try peppermint next time. It leaves my skin slippery looking but wiping with a kleenex helps. It seems greasy but is not, so it doesn't leave spots on clothing or bed sheets, etc. I got the oil too, which turned out to be effective and less fussy.
