Cetaphil Moisturizing June 28, 2010 Jackie (Marietta, Ga) My kids have eczema. I was walking around Walmart looking at soap section. A woman saw my kids and told me to use Cetaphil soap/body wash followed by Cetaphil cream. My kids are 9 and 10. I ask them how their skin feel after using the Moisturing Cream. The 9 year old said her skin felt softer and smoother. The 10 years shares the same opinion. I felt it was softer too.
Perfect for my sensitive face May 8, 2010 Angie (Nowhere) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this stuff. I use it as a facial lotion. This tub has lasted me over a year and I use it on a daily basis. I have extremely sensitive skin and this lotion hasn't irritated my face at all. It also has NO smell at all, no weird chemical smells or anything. It goes on a tad bit greasy if you use too much, but it quickly absorbs. It also doesn't irritate my acne. When I don't use this product, my face gets really dry like it usually does, but it works great when I use it. If I had to pick a con, it would be that I hate that this product is in a tub.....since it lasts so long, I don't like the thought of dipping my hands into a tub, it feels unsanitary. If you accidentally forget to put the lid on, the product gets hard at the top......either way, whatever. It still works great.
Excellent product, highly recommend it! April 12, 2010 P. CHAN (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well, I love this cream. I have been using all kinds of moisturizing cream for the kids family but nothing is better than this one so far. It's quite rich but doesn not feel greesy, as the cream is very aborbant and leaves a fresh feeling on your skin. It keeps the kids' skin well moisturized and soft and it's very soothing to the touch. I normally don't use it on my face but only hands and legs, but if I run out of my facial cream I use it on my face too and it feels just as great. I probably could just use this one as well. It's a must have for our family now.
Eczema solution! Finally! March 25, 2010 L. Park-Lee (Canada) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My daughter has been suffering from eczema since she was a baby. I pretty much tried everything, including the ointment prescribed by the doctor. I didn't really want to use the medicated ointment, because of the cortizone. I also realize that eczema is an inflammation of the skin caused by various factors, including certain food items. I tried restricting certain food from her diet, but I found it extremely difficult.
Anyways, I did some research, and I tried the following combination:
Omega liquid (2 times a day) - good for brain development, skin etc
Chewable pro-biotic tablets (2 times a day) - she thinks it's candy (I heard positive things about this)
Cataphil cream (2 times a day - once in the morning before daycare and once right after bath)
Switched her soap to "SOAP WORKS" olive oil bar, which is normally found in health food stores.
I have been following the above method for about a month, and I can honestly say her skin has improved significantly. Her dry patches are pretty much all gone and her skin is glowing!!!
I truly believe the above combo is helping out, but I need to give a huge credit to CETAPHIL. I tried everything, yet this cream is by far the best I have tried on her. It goes on so easily, it is greaseless, yet moisturizes beatifully. AWESOME PRODUCT!
